When designing the S.Klein series of pipes, we had value in mind.
It takes a considerable amount of time to draw and engineer a pipe. Knowing that only so many could be uniquely crafted, the concept of a machine made stummel came into my peripheral. While the original remains a painstaking process, (especially as it needs to be near perfect to be replicated properly) the subsequent bowls are delivered at a rapid rate. With this we are able to offer you pipes that will be part of our catalog and can be ordered at any time, even on back-order.
The price of S. Klein Designs is a big part of the draw (pun intended). While you receive a pipe that is expertly engineered and guaranteed to draw and smoke well, you are not paying a premium for it. S.Klein Designs are priced for everyday smokers, and with that we hope to see a whole new generation of pipe enthusiasts come about.
